Cookie Policy
Our public pages set no cookies and run no advertising or tracking technology. This page lists everything we store in your browser, why, and for how long.
The short version
Our public pages set no cookies. We use your browser’s own storage only to make the site work the way you asked (for example, dark mode or currency) and to remember, for the current session only, how you found us. Our page statistics are cookieless and do not identify you. There are no advertising or tracking technologies on this site.
Cookies and Similar Storage
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Browsers can also store information in other ways, such as localStorage (kept until you clear it) and sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab). UK and EU privacy law (PECR and the ePrivacy Directive) treats all of these the same way: storing or reading information on your device needs your consent unless it is strictly necessary for something you asked for. This policy covers all of them.
What We Store and Why
Everything below is first-party (set by thrivefinity.uk only) and is never shared with an advertising network or data broker.
Strictly necessary — remembers what you asked for
- Theme (
localStorage,tf-theme): your light or dark mode choice. Never sent to us. - Currency (
localStoragetf-currency;sessionStoragetf-currency-geo): whether prices show in GBP or INR, and a one-off country lookup used to pick a default. - Loading animation (
sessionStorage,tf_visited): skips the loading animation for the rest of your session. - Form draft (
sessionStorage,tf_b2b_brief_v1): keeps your answers on our requirements form if the page reloads during your session. Only on that page. - Payment confirmation (
sessionStorage,tf_paid_<reference>): stops one payment being counted twice if the confirmation page is reloaded. - Dismissed messages (
sessionStorage): once you close a banner or prompt, it stays closed for the rest of your session.
Session-only — how you found us
- Campaign and referral details (
sessionStorage,tf-utm-sessionandtf_ref): the campaign link or referral code that brought you here. Cleared when you close the tab. Sent to us only if you submit a form during that session, as part of the form.
We do not store anything that identifies you across sites, and nothing above is used for advertising. We keep how-you-found-us details for the session only and send them only with a form you choose to submit; if that changes we will ask for your consent first.
Third-party Resources
Fonts: all fonts are served from our own website. No requests go to Google Fonts or any other font service.
Page statistics: we use Plausible (run on our own servers) and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Both are cookieless: they store nothing on your device and do not identify you or follow you across sites.
Payments: when you go to payment, Razorpay sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. These are governed by Razorpay’s privacy policy and only appear on payment pages.
The providers that process data for us are listed on our Sub-processors page.
No Advertising or Tracking Cookies
ThriveFinity does not use:
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any Google tracking
- Facebook Pixel or any Meta tracking
- LinkedIn Insight Tag or any LinkedIn tracking
- Any retargeting or behavioural advertising technology
- Any session recording tools (e.g. Hotjar, FullStory, Microsoft Clarity)
- Any third-party chat widgets that set tracking cookies
- Google Fonts CDN or any external font delivery network
How to Manage Your Preferences
Because we use only localStorage and sessionStorage, standard cookie management tools do not apply. To clear your stored preferences:
- Chrome: Developer Tools → Application → Local Storage → right-click → Clear.
- Firefox: Developer Tools → Storage → Local Storage → delete entries.
- Safari: Settings → Advanced → Website Data → search for thrivefinity → Remove.
Clearing this data resets your theme and currency to their defaults and clears any saved form draft. Session storage is cleared automatically when you close the tab.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever add storage that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting it and update this policy first. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent change.
